The microscope: A call to all folks
A Colleague reader of my column wanted me to write something on Islam explaining some fundamentals, My Friend read (Ikra) the name of thy Lord, let me begin with the book of guidance of the Muslims; The Quran. Let me direct our attention to examine the Sacred book of the Muslims: The Holy Quran, Surah Al-Baqarah, the 127th verse speaks of Abraham and son Ishmael hoisting the foundations of the first House, Kabah, which is The Muslims Qiblah (Spiritual Centre). Their prayer back then was that the Lord accept their submission and being submissive to Allah’s laws, guidance as well as to raise their children to be submissive and at the same time illustrating their way of loyalty and, in addition, raise in the offsprings a Messenger from among them that shall speak publicly to them The Lord’s messages and teach the wisdom, and purify them of the Book ( The Quran).

Abraham, and first born son Ishmael, prayed that they would be made Muslims, (One who submits to do the will of Allah (God) but also that from their children a nation of Muslims would be raised. It is very imperative to comprehend this expression, “Show us our way of devotion.” They used the possessive pronoun “our” way of devotion that “our” way of devotion will be slightly unlike the ways of commitment given to those before us.
What is “our way of devotion” for the believers under the guidance of the Honorable Elijah Muhammad and the Honourable Minister Louis Farrakhan? What does “implement” mean? How is the book to be implemented? Why is a deeper understanding of the Qur’an required today? What effect is the world having on the world of Islam? Why? Readers of this column, the Prophet Peace be upon him was birthed in Arabia, excepting he envisioned a country devoid of borders. He envisioned a population with the aim of each individual on this Earth may discover proper brotherhood in the assurance of the confidence in the Oneness of the deity and the Oneness of humanity. This was The Prophet’s goal, and this will be achieved. Because this book of the Muslims is Allah’s (God) Will and His Will is obtainable to be done whether we do it or fail to do it. Allah said, “I will bring a different nation in your place.” The 30th Surah of the Qur’an, the 41st Ayat (verse) reads: “dishonesty has materialized in the land and the sea on account of men’s attitude and behaviour and has fashioned that He, Allah, possibly will make them go through a part of that which they have done, so that they may return.” “Return” means that somebody has departed off course or missing from the pathway, and dishonesty has emerged to take them off the course, and Allah (God) is going to make humanity experience a part of what they have done so that maybe they may come back to the path of the Prophet that they have rebelled against.
The million-dollar question here is what does it suggest that Allah will “make them taste a part of that which they have done”? What is meant by “corruption has appeared in the land and the sea”. Humanity exists on a planet where the world is stained by murder. The air is dirtied. The water is contaminated. I’m convinced that the Prophet was chatting about a time after the Earth would be disillusioned and the land and the ocean and the atmosphere would be poisoned. Human beings, in their scientific advancement, are pressing forward, but not In keeping with the active will of God in its place, by the accommodating the will of God. Man’s knowledge needs to be just right, save for it’s going to take an honest scientist to perfect the labour of unrighteous scientists. It’s going to take an upright nation to right the iniquity of this current humankind. A stanza in the Bible declares: “all things will be made new’
